SK1203 is a self-contained open circuit air breathing apparatus incorporating a hood for escape (EEBD). CE certified to PPE directive 89/686/CEE (according to EN1146:2005 standard) and to MED directive 96/98/EC. SK1203 is a breathing apparatus to be used as a personal rescue equipment in all those environments where dangerous situations occur due to fire fumes or lack of oxygen. SK1203 is designed to provide the user with a constant flow of air for more than 15 minutes for escape from a contaminated environment. The device is extremely easy to operate and it does not require any specific training. It automatically activates when the hood is pulled out of the bag. It is very light and can be carried along by the user for long periods so that it is at all times ready for use in case of emergencies. At the end of the air reserve a special valve opens to allow to breath in ambient air, which shall by then be uncontaminated.
